Rating: PG
Review Score: 9/10
Summery: You'll cheer all the way to the finish line for this feel-good film, destined to become a family classic! Kurt Russell (Mircacle) and Dakota Fanning (War of the Worlds) star as a horse trainer and his inspiring young daughter, Cale, whose determination to help an injured racehorse changes their lives forever.
Kris Kiristofferson, (Blade), Elisabeth Shue (Hide and Seek), Luis Guzmàn (Traffic), and Freddy Rodriguez (Six Feet Under) co-star in an uplifting story that celebrates dreams, second chances and the importance of family.*

Review Comments: This was an excellent movie. I especially recommended it for younger horse lovers. There are a lot of special twists and turns in the story that I thoroughly enjoyed. The only draw back, is the fairly implausible idea of an eleven year old girl being able to do some of the things with a race horse that Cale does with Dreamer. (But that's why it's a movie and not real life, I suppose.)

*note: This movie is loosely based on Mariah's Storm, whose story is very interesting in and of its self.
